Attacks On Protestants In The Heights

A bedroom of a 2 year old child was attacked when masked men had appeared to have came from the republican Somerset Drive area into the mainly Protestant Killowen area and threw a brick through the window. The PSNI have confirmed that they are investigating the incident.

The attackers then made their way down Lambeth Way and threw bricks at a bar in the town. The bars doorman was outside with customers at the time who chased the attackers away. A sorce told "We were lucky the doorman was outside as there was people sitting at the windows on this occasion and someone could have been seriously injured."
